Freeflo Plumbing and Gas – Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions outline the basis on which Freeflo Plumbing and Gas (ABN: 41 620 990 516) and any authorised representatives (“Freeflo”) will provide plumbing and gas fitting services to any individual, business, or organisation engaging Freeflo for such services (“the client”).
Attendance at Property
By requesting Freeflo to attend your premises, you acknowledge that our visit is not limited solely to the specific issue you have reported — you are authorising us to assess and, if necessary, perform plumbing or gas work relating to the broader property.
Fees and Charges
If the client decides not to proceed with any work upon arrival, this must be clearly communicated before tools or materials are set up. Otherwise, a minimum charge of $180 (excl. GST) will apply.
For works quoted above $2,000, a 6.5% deposit is required prior to commencement. This deposit is non-refundable.
Additional charges apply for work performed after hours, on weekends, or on public holidays. After-hours work is charged at overtime rates, with a minimum of 4 hours, including travel and materials.
Note: “No call-out fee” means we don’t charge for arriving at your door, but a minimum service fee applies for inspection, diagnosis, advice, or technical expertise provided.
Appointment Changes and Cancellations
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please provide at least 2 hours’ notice.
Failure to do so may incur a $100 cancellation fee.
Job Documentation, Photos & Videos
Clients are required to sign off that all work has been completed as agreed on the job sheet or digital software system.
Freeflo may take photos or videos of the work area for documentation, proof of workmanship, or liability purposes.
Payment Terms
Invoices must be paid within 7 days of issue.
Payments not received by the due date will attract an additional 1% fee every 14 days thereafter.
Payment plans can be arranged if discussed before the due date.
Accepted payment methods:
• Bank transfer, credit card, or BPAY (available upon request)
• Cheque or cash (in person)
• Cheque by mail
All materials remain property of Freeflo until full payment is received.
Warranty & Compliance
All parts supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and hold WaterMark certification under the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA).
All installations comply with the Water Services Licensing Act (1995) and relevant Australian Standards (AS3500 for plumbing, AS5601 for gas).
Certification or compliance inspections may incur additional fees as required by local authorities or regulatory bodies.
Site Access, Parking & Pets
Clients must provide safe, clear access to the work area for staff, tools, and materials.
Parking should be available within 20 metres of the property.
Additional charges may apply where:
• Ticketed parking is required
• Work is above ground floor
• Parking exceeds 20 metres from the entry point
Pets should be kept away from the work area; Freeflo is not responsible for securing pets.
Exclusions and Limitations
While all care is taken, Freeflo is not liable for:
• Damage to existing structures, finishes, or underground services not visible or documented
• Cracking, foundation shifts, or damage caused by pre-existing faults
• Dust, debris, or minor disruption caused during work unless otherwise agreed
• Excavation of rock, concrete, roots, or foreign matter (additional cost applies)
• Faults caused by non-compliant installations or client-supplied products
Freeflo accepts no responsibility for delays or additional costs caused by client-supplied fixtures, regulatory approvals, or external bodies such as Atco Gas or Water Corporation.
Product Details & Design
Clients are responsible for providing complete specifications and design details for any products supplied by them.
If design assistance or layout planning is required, additional charges may apply.
Re-attendance
If a return visit is required for a matter outside the original scope of work, a standard service fee may apply.
